Payment Page Terms of Use

LINK4PAY · Last updated 2026-10-27

Summary. This payment page is operated by LINK4PAY as a technical payment service for the business you are buying from (the "Merchant"). LINK4PAY transmits your payment instruction to the Merchant's bank or payment institution. LINK4PAY does not sell the goods or services, does not hold your money and is not a party to your contract with the Merchant. By using the page you accept these terms.

1. Who we are and what this page does

LINK4PAY ("we", "us") provides payment technology to merchants. This hosted payment page (the "Page") lets you pay the Merchant with a payment card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We process the payment instruction on behalf of the Merchant and its acquiring bank or payment institution (the "Acquirer"). The purchase itself - price, delivery, quality, warranties, cancellation and refund rights - is governed solely by your agreement with the Merchant.

2. Acceptance

By entering payment details on the Page, by confirming a payment with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or by continuing to use the Page, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, the Privacy and Cookie Notice and, where applicable, the Apple Pay Notice or the Google Pay Notice. If you do not accept them, do not use the Page and contact the Merchant for another way to pay.

3. Your obligations

4. How a payment works

When you confirm a payment, your card data is encrypted and sent to the Acquirer through our systems; the Merchant never sees your full card number. Your bank may require strong customer authentication. A payment is only completed when the Acquirer and your bank approve it; a declined payment creates no charge. The amount, currency and the Merchant's name shown on the Page are supplied by the Merchant. The description that appears on your statement is determined by the Acquirer and the Merchant. Apple Pay and Google Pay are provided by Apple Inc. and Google LLC under their own terms.

5. Refunds, cancellations and disputes

Refunds, cancellations, returns and complaints about the goods or services are handled by the Merchant under its own policies and the applicable consumer law. We execute refund instructions that the Merchant sends us; we cannot refund, reverse or cancel a payment on our own initiative. Questions about a charge must be addressed to the Merchant; disputes about unauthorised transactions may also be raised with your card issuer.

6. Availability and security

We apply industry security standards (encryption in transit, PCI DSS controls, 3-D Secure) and aim to keep the Page available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that any payment will be accepted. The Page may be unavailable for maintenance or because of events outside our control (including the networks of the card schemes, Acquirers, issuers, Apple or Google).

7. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Page is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability, and no warranty regarding the goods or services sold by the Merchant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINK4PAY, its affiliates, directors, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, or for any loss arising from: the goods or services of the Merchant; the acts or omissions of the Merchant, an Acquirer, a card scheme, your bank, Apple or Google; a declined or delayed payment; unauthorised use of your card or device; or any event beyond our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you in relation to the Page shall not exceed the amount of the payment concerned.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights against the Merchant.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold LINK4PAY harmless from any claims, losses, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the Page, or your use of payment credentials you were not authorised to use.

10. Personal data

We process your personal data as a processor for the Merchant and, for fraud prevention, security and legal compliance, as an independent controller, as described in the Privacy and Cookie Notice.

11. Intellectual property

The Page, its design, software and trademarks belong to LINK4PAY or its licensors. Apple Pay is a trademark of Apple Inc. Google Pay is a trademark of Google LLC. Card scheme marks belong to their respective owners. You receive no licence other than the right to use the Page to pay the Merchant.

12. Changes

We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this address; the version in force is the one published when you make a payment.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Page. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
