These terms govern access to and use of the Payment Gateway API ("API"), its documentation (this site), the sandbox / stage environment and the related software, keys and test data (together the "Services") provided by LINK4PAY. They apply in addition to the commercial agreement between LINK4PAY and the merchant or partner you represent (the "Agreement"). If these terms conflict with the Agreement, the Agreement prevails. By opening the documentation or calling the API you accept these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of the organisation you represent.
apiKey, apiSecret, access tokens and webhook signing secret confidential; call the API from
your servers only and never expose credentials in browsers, mobile applications or public repositories. You are responsible for all
activity performed with your credentials and must notify us immediately of any suspected compromise.Misuse may be logged and reported to the card schemes, acquirers and competent authorities, and may lead to immediate suspension.
We may change, add or withdraw features, endpoints, fields and environments. We aim to keep the API backward compatible within a major version and to announce breaking changes in advance, but we may make immediate changes for security, legal or scheme reasons. Documentation describes the intended behaviour and is not a warranty.
The Services are provided without any guaranteed availability, response time or support level unless the Agreement says otherwise. The stage environment may be reset, be unavailable or behave differently from production at any time. Technical questions can be sent to [email protected].
You must implement the Services so that cardholder data is handled in accordance with PCI DSS and data protection law, verify webhook signatures, protect your endpoints with TLS, and confirm payment results through the API rather than through client-side data. Personal data exchanged through the API is processed as described in the Privacy and Cookie Notice and in the data processing terms of the Agreement.
The Services, including the documentation, diagrams, code samples and software, are owned by LINK4PAY or its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for the purpose of the Agreement. Code samples may be copied into your integration. Apple Pay is a trademark of Apple Inc.; Google Pay is a trademark of Google LLC.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability or that any payment will be approved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINK4PAY, its affiliates, directors, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any loss caused by your integration, your systems, your credentials, the acts or omissions of acquirers, card schemes, issuers, Apple, Google or other third parties, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total aggregate liability arising from the Services in any twelve month period shall not exceed the fees paid by the merchant to LINK4PAY for the Services in that period or, where no fees were paid, one hundred euros (EUR 100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You will indemnify and hold LINK4PAY harmless from all claims, fines, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your integration, your use of the Services, or the goods and services you sell.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for breach of these terms, suspected fraud or security risk, scheme or regulatory requirements, or termination of the Agreement. Sections 5 to 11 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus; the courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any different choice in the Agreement. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. These terms may be updated by publishing a new version at this address; the version in force is the one published when you use the Services.
