Google Pay Notice

LINK4PAY · Last updated 2026-10-27

Summary. Google Pay is a service of Google LLC that lets you pay with the cards stored in your Google account. LINK4PAY receives an encrypted payment token from Google and forwards the resulting card or network token to the merchant's acquirer. Google's own terms apply to your use of Google Pay.

1. What Google Pay is on this page

When the Google Pay button is shown, Google provides the payment sheet and lets you select a card saved in your Google account. Google returns an encrypted payment token to LINK4PAY. We verify Google's signatures, decrypt the token with keys registered in the merchant's Google Pay configuration and forward the card details or the device token and cryptogram to the acquiring bank or payment institution of the merchant. Depending on the card, your bank may additionally authenticate you with 3-D Secure. The transaction is then approved or declined by your card issuer.

2. Availability

Google Pay is offered only when your browser or device and region support it and when the merchant's acquirer accepts wallet payments. LINK4PAY does not control the availability of Google Pay, the cards eligible in your Google account, or the authentication performed by Google, and may withdraw the Google Pay option at any time.

3. Google's terms and your issuer

Your use of Google Pay is governed by the Google Pay terms of service and Google's privacy policy that apply in your country, by the terms of your card issuer and by the rules of the card scheme. LINK4PAY is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for Google Pay, your Google account, your device, or the decisions of your issuer.

4. Data

We receive from Google the card or token number, the expiry date, where available a cryptogram, the amount and currency you approved and, when the merchant requested it, the billing address and e-mail address you confirmed on the payment sheet. We use them only to execute the payment and to authenticate you with your bank, as described in the Privacy and Cookie Notice. Google's processing of your data is described in Google's privacy policy.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINK4PAY provides the Google Pay option "as is" and disclaims all warranties regarding Google Pay, its availability, accuracy or fitness for purpose. LINK4PAY is not liable for any loss arising from the Google Pay service, your Google account, your device, unauthorised use of your account or device, or any act or omission of Google, a card scheme or your issuer. The Payment Page Terms of Use apply in full.

6. Trademarks

Google Pay and the Google Pay logo are trademarks of Google LLC. LINK4PAY is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google LLC.
