Apple Pay Notice

LINK4PAY · Last updated 2026-10-27

Summary. Apple Pay is a service of Apple Inc. that lets you pay with the cards stored in your Apple Wallet. LINK4PAY receives an encrypted, device-specific payment token from Apple - never your actual card number - and forwards it to the merchant's acquirer. Apple's own terms apply to your use of Apple Pay.

1. What Apple Pay is on this page

When the Apple Pay button is shown, your device and Apple provide the payment sheet, authenticate you (Face ID, Touch ID or passcode) and create a one-time payment token. LINK4PAY decrypts this token with keys issued by Apple to the merchant's Apple Pay configuration, verifies its signature and forwards the resulting network token and cryptogram to the acquiring bank or payment institution of the merchant. The transaction is then approved or declined by your card issuer.

2. Availability

Apple Pay is offered only when your device, browser and region support it and when the merchant's acquirer accepts wallet payments. LINK4PAY does not control the availability of Apple Pay, the cards eligible in your Wallet, or the authentication methods of your device, and may withdraw the Apple Pay option at any time.

3. Apple's terms and your issuer

Your use of Apple Pay is governed by the Apple Pay terms and the Apple Media Services or iCloud terms that apply in your country, by the terms of your card issuer and by the rules of the card scheme. LINK4PAY is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for Apple Pay, the Apple Wallet, your device, or the decisions of your issuer.

4. Data

Apple does not share your card number with us or with the merchant. We receive the device account number (a token), the expiry date, the cryptogram, the amount and currency you approved and, when the merchant requested them, the contact and billing details you confirmed on the payment sheet. We use them only to execute the payment, as described in the Privacy and Cookie Notice. Apple's processing of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINK4PAY provides the Apple Pay option "as is" and disclaims all warranties regarding Apple Pay, its availability, accuracy or fitness for purpose. LINK4PAY is not liable for any loss arising from the Apple Pay service, the Apple Wallet, your device, unauthorised use of your device or Wallet, or any act or omission of Apple, a card scheme or your issuer. The Payment Page Terms of Use apply in full.

6. Trademarks

Apple, Apple Pay, Apple Wallet, Face ID and Touch ID are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. LINK4PAY is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
